What FPS Unlocker is

Roblox FPS Unlocker became popular because players with high-refresh-rate monitors wanted Roblox to run beyond the traditional 60 FPS cap. RFU solved that narrow but important problem: Roblox could feel limited even when the hardware was capable of more. It became known for being small, direct, and focused on one job - unlocking Roblox frame rates without turning into a bloated launcher. Roblox has since added its own Maximum Frame Rate setting, which changed RFU's role, but not the original idea behind it: clean, direct frame rate control, including for Roblox Studio testing.
